Paper Cranes

paper cranesMy class is learning how to make paper cranes and i’m suppose to help everybody with the creasing and following steps correctly. These people will also be  doing this, Emma, Mallory,Beau,and Sam L.We are making them in the afternon.It’s going to be so fun! The hardet part is folding it the right way. We had some accidents with the paper cranes, but now were really good at the steps. The whole idea came from our book read aloud, Sadaku and the Thousand Paper Cranes. Our teacher Mrs.Campagna, spent the weekend learning how to make these to teach us! Here are some pictures of Paper Cranes so you get the idea.

 

 

 

Wax Museum

Hello, my school is doing  wax museum for third grade. A wax museum is when you research a person and dress up like them and tell facts about them. I’m doing Dorothea Lange. Here is a picture of them. She has a very hard and interesting life. I would persuade you to research her!

Hawaii

Ok, here are some facts about Hawaii.

1. Hawaii’s state bird is Nene the Hawaiian goose.

2. Hawaii is the only state that grows coffee.

3. From east to west Hawaii is the largest state in the United States.

4. Under-sea volcanoses that erupted thousands of years ago formed the islands of Hawaii.

5. Kilauea Iki is the states most active volcano.

6. The state consisits of eight main islands Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe, and the big island of Hawaii.

7. The Hawaiian Islands are projecting tops of the biggest mountain range in the world.
